Student Activation

If you are a new student to City, please wait until you have been invited to activate your account by e-mail before attempting this process.

You will not be able to activate your account until you have been invited.

To set up your password please complete the details below. You will use this password to access all University IT facilities from now on.

You will find your student number on your "invitation to register" email.

Date of Birth (dd/mm/yyyy)

Set your password

Passwords must be 8 characters or greater, not contain your name and be from at least 3 of the following categories:

English uppercase characters (A through Z).
English lowercase characters (a through z).
Base 10 digits (0 through 9).
Non-alphabetic characters (for example, !, $, #, %) but not a comma (,), a space ( ), a vertical bar/pipe (|), a colon (:), or an equality sign (=).

Choose a password.

Confirm your password.

Important

Please remember your password; you will require this and your username every time you log in to a University computer or IT system.
